Walnut Tahini Sauce

I like the background paper for this card. It kind of looks like a newspaper because of the print. It and the faded looking stamp gives the card a distinct look. I don't know what I will use this card for yet, but it would be a good just because or birthday card. Maybe even a get well soon card.

This creamy, but dairy free sauce is delicious over roasted veggies, salad, or pasta. It takes a bit of forethought to make since you have to soak the walnuts, but it is worth thinking ahead. You can spice it up by adding in garlic, pepper, or any other savory seasoning you can think of.

Walnut Tahini Sauce
1 cup soaked walnuts
4 tbsp tahini
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup water

Soak the walnuts in water overnight. Blend all the ingredients together and serve over veggies, salad, or pasta.
