Strawberry Jelly

We had a ton of extra strawberries, so I decided to make strawberry jelly. It was super easy, but turned out a bit runnier than normal jelly. This is because we didn't put pectin in it. My mom loved it. So did Sydney.

8 cups strawberries
1 cup sugar
a lemon

  1. Juice the lemon, and put the strawberries in a food processor. Process them until they are just tiny chunks.
  2. Combine the lemon juice, strawberries, and sugar in a pot. Turn the stove on high, and cook the ingredients until they begin to boil. Stir often.
  3. Let the mixture cool. Put it into a jar and store in the fridge for up to ten days.
