Cinco de Mayo

Harp and I did some crafts for Cinco de Mayo. We figured that since the Mexicans don't celebrate it, we should be obligated to. Someone has to run around in a sombrero eating tacos.
We made maracas for Cinco de Mayo. They are made from an Easter egg with rice stuffed inside. We then taped two plastic knives onto the egg, and Harp colored on the tape. They aren't the prettiest things, but they work.

A paper taco is made by cutting out a circle, folding it almost in half, and stuffing whatever filling you want inside. I went with tomatoes and meat, but the kids I babysat for put in cheese and lettuce too.

A sombrero bank. There is a hole in the top.
